Size of Baby: Ear of corn
Total Weight Gain: 21 pounds — though I started out gaining more weight during this pregnancy than last, I have evened out and am now at the same point of weight gain that I was last pregnancy. Shew!
Maternity Clothes? All maternity clothes.
Stretch Marks? No!
Sleep: Despite the fact that we’ve been sleeping on mattresses on the floor (new bed arriving in a matter of days), I’m still sleeping well. I wake up once each night for a bathroom break, which has been the norm since the instant I became pregnant, it seems.
Best Moment of the Last Four Weeks: Spending a week in Michigan with my family!
Miss Anything? Being in shape, having energy and my collar bones.
Movement: Given the placement of the placenta (it’s actually in front this time), Amelia’s movements are felt very “deep” if that makes any sense. Last time, most of the movement was felt on the surface, so when Amelia moves — which she does a lot — it can be jarring at times!
Food Cravings: Nothing too new here, except for cashews or any other salty nuts.
Labor Signs: None!
Symptoms: My headaches are gone, thank goodness! I just have continued mid-back pain, heartburn and fatigue.
Belly Button?: In!
Wedding Rings?: Off — I traded my wedding band for my right hand ring, which fits a little looser.
Happy or Moody?: I feel like I’ve been pretty happy, but you’ll have to ask Ryan for a more accurate response.
Looking Forward To: A month of very little traveling (for us!), time for nesting and a healthy baby girl’s continued growth!
