On the Road — North Carolina

After 4th of July, we made our way down to Blowing Rock, North Carolina for Ryan’s uncle’s wedding. Brad married his longtime sweetheart, Rachel, in a sweet, beautiful ceremony. And the reception was pretty fun too! We went down a few days early to make a vacation of the wedding.

Blowing Rock is a cute little mountain town, and the natural scenery is just gorgeous. Once over her initial shock of seeing animal heads on the wall, Charlotte was obsessed with all of the “deer” she saw on the trip. She got to meet family that she had never met before, like Great Great Aunt Donna, Great Great Uncle Leonard and Great Uncle Brad and Great Aunt Rachel. Charlotte was a champ during the 9-hour drive to Blowing Rock and back to Evansville.

It's not a true road trip without a stop at Cracker Barrel.
