Hoppy Easter!

Easter Weekend. What a whirlwind. Family get togethers, celebrating our risen Savior and 20-somethings hunting Easter eggs at 7 a.m. in their Sunday best.

We made the rounds this past Easter: Evansville, Ohio and Greenwood (and yes, we were in all three places on one day — which will probably never happen again) and had an amazing first Easter with Charlotte. We think she had just as much fun too…

Charlotte got to spend some quality time with her cousin, Jack. This visit, they occasionally acknowledged one another.

I bet you'd be really surprised to find that the bonnet only made it through the Easter photos.

Charlotte got three books, including the Jesus Storybook Bible (not just for kids!), a little lamb and pajamas from the Easter Bunny. Marmee snuck in some clothes, and Nana got her an Easter Basket full of toys, books and clothes too!

But this was probably Charlotte's favorite part of our Easter visits...which is why it's now in our living room in Chicago.

We’re learning very quickly that special holidays are just as much fun with a little bit to spoil, and we can’t wait for next Easter when she’s toddling about collecting eggs.
